Section 8-27-10 - Appeals
(a) Any person aggrieved by a decision made pursuant to this chapter may appeal that decision to the superintendent within thirty calendar days after that decision. The appeal shall be in writing and shall state the:
(1) Pertinent facts of the case;
(2) Decision of the department;
(3) Reason or reasons why the person appealing feels that the decision was incorrect;
(4) Reasons why the person is aggrieved; and
(5) Remedy the person seeks.
(b) The written decision of the superintendent or the superintendent's designee shall be mailed by certified mail, return receipt requested, to the person appealing not later than thirty calendar days after receipt of the appeal.
