Section 12-222.1-13 - Controls and heat-generating apparatus(a) Oil and gas-fired and electrically heated boilers shall be equipped with suitable primary (flame safe-guard) safety controls, safety limit switches and controls, and burners or electric elements as required by a nationally or internationally recognized standard.(b) The symbol of the certifying organization that has approved such equipment as having complied with a nationally recognized standard shall be affixed to the equipment and shall be considered as evidence that the unit was manufactured in accordance with that standard.(c) These devices shall be installed in accordance with departmental, environmental requirements, manufacturer's recommendations, and industry standards, as applicable.Haw.
