Section 12-222.1-1 - ScopeUnless exempt under section 12-220-2.1 (c), the requirements in this section shall apply to power boilers and high-temperature water boilers, but not limited to the following:
(1) Boilers in which steam or other vapor is generated at a pressure of more than fifteen (15) psig for use external to itself;(2) High-temperature water boilers intended for operation at pressures exceeding one hundred sixty (160) psig or temperatures exceeding two hundred fifty (250) degrees Fahrenheit; and(3) Unfired steam boilers designed in accordance with ASME BPVC Section I.Haw. Code R. § 12-222.1-1
