(a)Briefs by parties (1) The appellant must serve and file an appellant's opening brief within: (A) 30 days after the record-or the reporter's transcript, after a rule 8.845 election in a civil case, is filed in the appellate division; or (B) 60 days after the filing of a rule 8.845 election in a civil case, if the appeal proceeds without a reporter's transcript.
