CODIFICATIONSections 12-1 to 12-3 comprised the second, third, and fourth pars., respectively, of section 8 of the Commodity Exchange Act, Sept. 21, 1922, ch. 369, §8, 42 Stat. 1003. Such section 8 was amended generally by Pub. L. 95-405, §16, Sept. 30, 1978, 92 Stat. 873, and is classified in its entirety to section 12 of this title.Section 12-1, as added Dec. 19, 1947, ch. 523, 61 Stat. 941; amended Feb. 19, 1968, Pub. Commission
The term "Commission" means the Commodity Futures Trading Commission established under section 2(a)(2) of this title.
