EFFECTIVE DATE OF REPEAL Pub. L. 105-33, title IV, §4713(b), Aug. 5, 1997, 111 Stat. 509, provided that: "The repeal made by subsection (a) [repealing this section] shall apply to services furnished on or after October 1, 1997."
