Section, acts May 28, 1926, ch. 411, §1, 44 Stat. 669; June 25, 1948, ch. 646, §22, 62 Stat. 990, renamed the Board of General Appraisers as the United States Customs Court and provided that the members be known as judges of the United States Customs Court.

EFFECTIVE DATE OF REPEALRepeal effective Nov. 1, 1980, and applicable with respect to civil actions pending on or commenced on or after such date, see section 701(a) of Pub. L. 96-417 set out as an Effective Date of 1980 Amendment note under section 251 of Title 28, Judiciary and Judicial Procedure.
