Section 15.403 - Supervision and Regulation of Credit Unions(a) The commissioner shall supervise and regulate a credit union doing business in this state, other than a federal credit union, in accordance with this chapter and Subtitle D, Title 3, including rules adopted under this chapter and Subtitle D, Title 3.(b) To the extent necessary to the department's authority to supervise and regulate credit unions under this chapter and Subtitle D, Title 3, the commissioner may require each credit union to conduct business in compliance with federal laws that apply to credit unions.Amended by Acts 2013, 83rd Leg. - Regular Session, ch. 19,Sec. 1, eff. 9/1/2013.Amended by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 533, Sec. 2, eff. 9/1/2003.
