Section 421.450 - Definitions for ORS 421.455 to 421.480

As used in ORS 421.455 to 421.480, unless the context requires otherwise:

(1) "Local adult in custody" means a person sentenced by a court or legal authority to serve sentence in a county or city jail, but does not include a child detained by order of the juvenile court.

(2) "State adult in custody" means an adult in custody of a Department of Corrections institution.
