Section 26:16-15 - Construction of actNothing in P.L. 2019, c. 59(C.26:16-1 et al.) shall be construed to:
a. authorize a physician or any other person to end a patient's life by lethal injection, active euthanasia, or mercy killing, or any act that constitutes assisted suicide under any law of this State; orb. lower the applicable standard of care to be provided by a health care professional who participates in P.L. 2019, c. 59(C.26:16-1 et al.).Added by L. 2019, c. 59,s. 15, eff. 8/1/2019.
