§ 8002g. Nature of the Board for federal purposes

The Environmental Quality Board is hereby designated as the agency of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico with the authority to exercise, execute, receive and administer delegation, establish regulations, and implement a permit system in connection with, but not limited to, the Clean Water Act, the Clean Air Act, the Solid Waste Disposal Act, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act, as these have been amended, and for purposes of any other federal legislation that may be approved in the future by the United States Congress as pertains to environmental conservation, natural resources, solid waste, and other matters relative to the purposes of this chapter.
