Section 36-4-6-11 - Majority vote; two-thirds vote(a) A requirement that an ordinance, resolution, or other action of the legislative body be passed by a majority vote means at least a majority vote of all the elected members.(b) A requirement that an ordinance, resolution, or other action of the legislative body be passed by a two-thirds (2/3) vote means at least a two-thirds (2/3) vote of all the elected members.Pre-Local Government Recodification Citation: 18-1-3-2 part.
