Section 3-9-2-3 - Corporations, labor organizations, and national banks(a) Notwithstanding IC 23-0.5-8-2 or any other statute, a corporation or labor organization may make a contribution to aid in the:(1) election or defeat of a candidate; or(2) the success or defeat of:(A) a political party; or(B) a public question submitted to a vote in an election.(b) Contributions by a corporation or labor organization are limited to those authorized by sections 4, 5, and 6 of this chapter.(c) A national bank or a corporation organized by authority of any law of Congress must comply with contribution restrictions applicable to Indiana elections under 52 U.S.C. 30118.Pre-1986 Recodification Citations: 3-4-3-3(a) part; 3-4-3-3(c).
