Section 75-02-01.2-84 - Job opportunities and basic skills program -Satisfactory participation
1. Except as otherwise provided in this section, all work-eligible individuals and all eligible children, age sixteen or older, who have completed high school or received a general equivalency diploma, or who have neither completed high school nor received a general equivalency diploma and are not currently attending school, shall comply with work requirements no fewer than the minimum required hours each week. Work activity may be required in addition to the minimum required hours in an approved work activity.
2. A parent or other eligible caretaker relative of a child under age six, who is personally caring for that child full time, is deemed to comply with subsection 1 if engaged in an allowable work activity an average of at least the minimum required hours per week during each month.
3. A single head of household, under twenty years of age, who has not earned a high school diploma or its equivalent, but who maintains satisfactory attendance in school, is deemed to comply with subsection 1.
