(a) Hospitals with a licensed bed capacity of 50 or more shall maintain a well-ventilated morgue with autopsy facilities unless adequate morgue and autopsy facilities are available in the local community.(b) Hospitals with a licensed bed capacity of 100 or more shall maintain a well-ventilated morgue with autopsy facilities.(c) Refrigerated compartments shall be maintained if human remains are held unembalmed.
