Meliton Torres-Estrada appeals his conviction, pursuant to a guilty plea, and sentence for importation of heroin and possession of heroin with intent to distribute in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 952, 960 and 841(a)(1). Torres-Estrada's counsel has filed a brief pursuant to Anders v. California, 386 U.S. 738 (1967). His attorney has filed a motion to withdraw as counsel of record pursuant to Anders v. California, 386 U.S. 738 (1967), and a brief stating that he can identify no issues for review.

Our examination of counsel's brief and our independent review of the record under Penson v. Ohio, 488 U.S. 75, 83 (1988), indicate that there are no issues for review. Accordingly, counsel's motion to withdraw is GRANTED, and the conviction and sentence are AFFIRMED.
