Section 6031 - Inspection of local detention facility(a) The Board of State and Community Corrections shall, at a minimum, inspect each local detention facility in the state biennially.(b) Any duly authorized officer, employee, or agent of the board may, upon presentation of proper identification, enter and inspect any area of a local detention facility, without notice, to conduct an inspection required by this section.Amended by Stats 2021 ch 80 (AB 145),s 20, eff. 7/16/2021.Amended by Stats 2017 ch 17 (AB 103),s 42, eff. 6/27/2017.
