A state employee family leave pool is established to provide eligible employees more flexibility in bonding and caring for children during a child's first year following birth, adoption, or foster placement, and caring for a seriously ill family member or the employee, including pandemic-related illnesses or complications caused by a pandemic.
(1) The Commission's Executive Director shall designate a pool administrator.(2) The pool administrator will recommend a policy, operating procedures, and forms for the administration of this section for approval by the Executive Director.(3) Operation of the pool shall be consistent with Texas Government Code, Chapter 661, Subchapter A-1. State Employee Family Leave Pool.(4) Adoption of this rule is required of state agencies by Texas Government Code § 661.022.13 Tex. Admin. Code § 11.25
