Section 2:05:02:05 - Approved basic training course

The commission shall approve a basic training course for certification as a 911 telecommunicator which consists of a curriculum of at least 80 hours of training and includes the following subject areas:

(1) Program administration;

(2) Communication skills;

(3) 911 telecommunicator practices and procedures;

(4) Legal aspects; and

(5) Human behavior.
