Section Ed 1124.02 - Services for Children with Disabilities Removed from Current Placement

Ed 1124.02 Services for Children with Disabilities Removed from Current Placement. When a child with disabilities has been removed from the child's current placement for more than 10 days in a school year, in addition to providing services necessary to enable the child to continue to participate in the general education curriculum, as provided in 300.530(d)(1)(i), the LEA shall provide service necessary to provide the child with a disability an opportunity to progress in the general education curriculum consistent with the child's IEP. Such services, if provided at the child's home, shall consist of:

(a) a minimum of 10 hours/week of instruction, including special education as specified in the child's IEP; and
(b) related services as specified in the child's IEP.
