Rule 23-102-3.22 - Certification by Office of Refugee ResettlementA. The qualified status of a trafficking victim is not based on immigration status. The Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) issues a certification letter for an adult who has been subjected to a severe form of trafficking and meets statutory certification requirements. The ORR also issues a similar eligibility letter for children. Other agencies may issue letters or documents to victims of severe forms of trafficking; however, the ORR letter is the acceptable verification. Victims of trafficking are not required to provide immigration documents. SAVE verification is not required.23 Miss. Code. R. 102-3.22
