Section XXXIII-1201 - Scope of ChapterA. As authorized and mandated by R.S. 37:1747, the rules of this Chapter prescribe practice and reporting requirements for dental health care providers including, but not limited to, dentists and dental hygienists to protect the public from the risk of the transmission of the Hepatitis B virus (HBV), Hepatitis C virus (HCV), and the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) to patients.La.
