Rule 281-23.6 - Qualification of staff

Adult education and literacy programs shall be in compliance with the requirements established under this rule by July 1, 2015. The requirements of this rule apply to all staff hired after July 1, 2015. All staff hired prior to July 1, 2015, are exempt from this rule.

(1)Professional staff. Professional staff providing instruction in an adult education and literacy program to students must possess at minimum a bachelor's degree.

(2)Volunteer staff. Volunteer staff must possess at minimum a high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma.
