For an apprenticeship program to be offered by a community college or a local educational agency, the program must be approved by the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship, and meet all requirements outlined in the National Apprenticeship Act, 29 U.S.C. § 50, 29 CFR Parts 29 and 30, all as effective on February 7, 2024, or as specified in Iowa Code chapter 84D.
