ORDER

On February 21, 2007, defendant Matthew Tovar appeared with his attorney Michele Tjader to enter a guilty plea to two of the traffic citations issued against him. The government was represented by Assistant United States Attorney Meredith Duchemin. The court accepted Tovar's guilty plea to operating a motor vehicle with a prohibited blood alcohol content and for speeding. The court granted the government's motion to dismiss all the other citations issued against Tovar.

The court then sentenced Tovar as follows:

1) Tovar is sentenced to 20 days in custody, commencing forthwith. The court recommends that Tovar be held at the Dodge County Jail if space permits.
2) Tovar shall pay a fine of $550 on the PBAC ticket plus a $10 special assessment. Tovar shall pay a $55 fine on the speeding ticket, plus a $5 assessment. All amounts are due and payable to the clerk of this court immediately.

The clerk's office is directed to cause this conviction to be reported to the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles so that the state may undertake whatever administrative proceedings it deems appropriate.
