United States v. Petrillo

1 Citing brief

  1. The People, Respondent,v.Raphael Golb, Appellant.

    Brief

    Filed March 25, 2014

A statute will not be deemed vague when it “conveys sufficiently definite warning as to the proscribed conduct when measured by common understanding and practices.” Shack, 86 N.Y.2d at 538 (quoting Petrillo, 332 U.S. at 8). Accordingly, a vagueness challenge “may be overcome in any specific case where reasonable persons would know that their conduct is at risk.”
