    In Leibovitch v. Syrian Arab Republic, No 08-C-1939, 2011 WL 444762, at *3–4 (N.D. Ill. Feb. 1, 2011), rev’d on other grounds sub nom. Liebovitch v. Islamic Republic of Iran, 697 F.3d 561 (7th Cir. 2012), the court relied on an expert who served for three decades as an IDF intelligence officer studying Iran’s support for terrorism in Israel. And in Wachsman v. Is- lamic Republic of Iran, 603 F. Supp. 2d 148, 153 n.1 (D.D.C. 2009), the court relied on an offi- cial from the IDF’s Military Intelligence Branch as an expert on Islamic terrorism.
