SI private messaged Mehta on Zoom and either asked Mchta for directions about a class assignment or tried to chem. CVl wasn't positive which. When Mchta declined lo provide the information SI asked for. SI used aggressive language with Mehla. Mehta told CV1 about the interaction. Per CV l . Mchm did not seem okay with the interaction so (‘Vl found SI on lnsmgram and told SI “you're creeping out my friend. just stop." Al lhc end ofthe conversation. Sl asked CV1 where CV1 lived. The link was actually something CVl refemd to as an "IP grab" and was designed to capture the location of CV l 's computer and therefore CVI ‘s address. CVI thought it was a prank at the time. because CV1 did not know SI was trying to find (‘V I lo attack him. SI put CV1 in a hcadlock and threw CV1 to the ground. CVI landed on his lefi side on the ground. Defendant admitted to Plaintiff’s friend that Defendant sent the email to Plaintiff with the fake link to obtain Plaintiff‘s IP address . Defendant said PlaintifT will be fine before Defendant finishes his college applications. The friend asked what Defendant meant. Defendant replied, “Don’t worry man, you will see". SeeW Plaintiff is informed and believes that Defendant was waiting for admission to college before he engaged in criminal activity as if to avoid being suspended or expelled from school or otherwise hampering his admissions process.
