He continuously knocked on my front door. He knocked 4 times, long. loud knocking. I was working in my home office and l did not answer the door. He then proceeded to walk across my street and talk with my neighbor. I was able to view this with my live camera, a Ring security camera. This was extremely upsetting especially since I do not speak with that neighbor (he is a drug dealer) and my neighbors do not need to know my business. He finally left my house after he finished talking with my neighbor. Hector then returned to my home at 6:1 O pm that same day. He began knocking on my door, | was still working in my home office. I began to walk towards my front door and was ready to press record on my phone when I realized that he had opened my front door! He was leaning in as if he was about to step foot into my house! I told him, what the hell are you doing and to get out of my house. I slammed the door on him. His response was that the door was unlocked. He then said in Spanish very sternly that he needs his money (the sound is recorded on my Ring security camera). The Ring camera also shows when he arrived and left in his truck. He sat in his truck for awhile until he finally decided to leave. This was an extremely frightening experience for me. | live alone and l did not know what his intentions were, I don't know what he would’ve done to me if he did get a chance to enter my home. I called the police department as soon as Hector left my home that evening. I explained the incident to Officer German. The case number is #20 342 0784. Officer German advised me to file a restraining order. This has caused a lot of anxiety and stress which has taken a lot of focus away from my job. | had started a new position with the federal government in early August 2020, which is a very demanding role. He does not have the right to cause this much stress in my life and to affect my livelihood. I am always worried if he will come back late at night and try to break into my home since he knows the exact layout of my home. l am also afraid that he will retaliate if he does not receive the money that he is asking for, after the court proceedings. Hector thinks that he can do whatever he pleases without any repercussions. He does not understand that he cannot harass me and make me feel threatened. He doesn't realize that it is against the law to open people’s doors. My door happened to be unlocked because l was in a rush when I got home earlier (although I usually always lock my door). But what he doesn't realize is that it was not okay for him open it, even if it was unlocked. Since he thinks he can do whatever he pleases and does not realize that he cannot harass me like he has been doing for at least four months, l need a restraining order. I do not feel safe in my own home, I'm afraid for my life and I don't know when he will show up again. Every time he would come to my house, on previous occasions, he would stay in front of my home and sit in his truck. l felt like a prisoner in my own home. This is no way to live and because of his continuous harassment l need a restraining order. Attachment 7b- Previous Harassment Hector Blanco began harassing me in September 2020. He began to continuously call me and text me, telling me that he needs his money. ltold him several times that I paid him more than enough money and l did not owe him anything. I tried to talk with his boss, Marty Satow, but he refused to speak to me about the situation, even though Marty was managing the project and Hector was his worker. Hector and his wife showed up to my house on several occasions between September 2020 and December 2020. They would continuously knock on my door and yell at me thr0ugh the door. I have text messages from September 14, 2020 and October 7, 2020. Since l blocked his phone number, l am not able to see the complete history of the missed calls. | do have 3 missed calls from October 7, 2020, then I immediately blocked his number. This caused a lot of stress and anxiety in my life after | had already explained to them that I had paid Hector his money for the amount of work that he did. Every time they would show up to my house, they would sit in my front yard in their truck. l was not able to leave my house every time they showed up to my house, I was a prisoner in my own home. 0n September 14, 2020 I was working in my home office, when suddenly I heard someone using a tape measurement in my backyard. I never gave permission to Hector to come onto my property. On August 24, 2020 I had told him to never come back to my house. But he thought he was going to continue to do some landscaping. I never told him that I was going to re-hire him for any type of work. l have the text message that I asked him if he is on my property, in my backyard on 9/14/2020 at 6:35 pm. I then went outside and told him to get off my property. | told him that I never gave him permission to come on my property. He told me that Marty gave him permission. Itold him that Marty is not the property owner, that I'm the property owner and to get off my property. He finally went to his truck and sat in his truck for at least 10 minutes. | saw him on the phone and then he finally left. This was another time that | was harassed and felt like a prisoner in my own home. I also feIt scared and threatened after this incident, since this proved to me that Hector felt confident to do what he wanted without any repercussions. This has not only caused stress and anxiety to myself but also to my parents that are extremely worried for my safety.
