For reasons stated in the application, appellant seeks an extension t0 file the opening brief t0 November 1, 2020. Appellant is self-represented and currently resides in East Lansing, Michigan. She argues, in part, she has been unable to prepare the opening brief because of closures to law libraries due to the ongoing COVID-19 public health crisis. She also contends an extension 0f time is necessary given the various issues to be addressed 0n this appeal (Which she briefs in a nine-page attachment to the application for extension 0f time). The challenges presented by emergency orders intended t0 limit the pandemic’s spread constitute good cause to extend the time for briefing but not, at least at this time, for an extension of the duration proposed.
