Casetext, which boasts a 4.8/5 stars for overall performance, has received a score of 9.7 out of 10 for Ease of Use and Quality of Support for Legal Research, compared to 8.1 and 8.8 for Lexis and 8.7 and 8.6 for Westlaw, respectively.
The rankings are similar on Capterra, where Casetext has a 4.7 for Ease of Use and 4.8 for Customer Service, compared to a 4.4 and 4.3 for Westlaw and 4.2 and 3.2 for Lexis.
Customers describe Casetext as a “game changer,” with many noting the platform’s Parallel Search feature “saves lots of valuable time and is very accurate with [legal research] results.”
