New Advisory Examining HHS’s HIPAA Guidance on Mental Health Information

Be sure to check out at our recent advisory discussing the latest HIPAA guidance on mental health information. It discusses how the Department of Health and Human Services addresses frequently asked questions about when it is appropriate for providers to share protected health information of a patient who is being treated for a mental health condition with family, friends, or others involved in the patient’s care.
