In our January Client Advisory, we informed you of the new USERRA requirement for employers to “provide notice of the rights, benefits, and obligations” of employees entering military service covered by USERRA and of their employers. USERRA stands for the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act. If you did not receive the Client Advisory, you can still view it here.
The Department of Labor released a poster that employers may use to meet their notice requirement. You may download the poster from the link at the top of this page. The poster should be displayed where you customarily place notices for employees.
