$3.6 Million Verdict Upheld

Last week, after a week and a half of trial, my jury returned a $3.6 million verdict on behalf of my client. This was an important victory as this was one of the first trials in the United States where the only damage issue presented to the jury was whether my client, who had sustained a mild traumatic brain injury would sustain a future economic loss, despite the fact that my client was currently employable and earning more money than he earned prior to the crash, and in what amount. After deliberating all day the jury returned a verdict in the amount of $3.6 million.

Yesterday the trial judge ruled on defendants’ motion to dismiss the claim. For the reasons that the Court denied defendants motion to bar my vocational economic expert, he denied defendants’ motion to dismiss.
