TELEGRAPHERS' UNION Case No. R-3015 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES December 19, 1941 On November 18, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board issued a Decision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceed- ings.' Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by ,secret ballot was conducted on December 4, 1941, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Ninth Region (Cin- cinnati, Ohio). On December 6, 1941, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report on the ballot. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. L R B 1066 37 N.R.L B, No. 131 810 THE WESTERN UNION TETL'EGRAPH COMPANY 811 and selected by a majority of all employees in the commercial, traffic, and plant departments at the Columbus, Ohio, office of The Western Union Telegraph Company, including regular and regular part-time messengers and automatic chief, but excluding the superintendent, sales manager, delivery manager, clerk to superintendent, traffic man- ager, senior supervisor, T & R chief, confidential clerk to traffic manager, maintenance foreman, city fireman, clerk assistant to de- livery manager, chief bookkeeper, cashier, early night and late night traffic managers, telephone supervisor, chief clerk in traffic depart- ment, and temporary messengers, as their representative for the pur- poses of collective bargaining, and-that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, Commercial Telegraphers' Union, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the-purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment. 1 Copy with citationCopy as parenthetical citation
