Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was con- ducted on April 25, 1941, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Eleventh Region (Indianapolis, Indiana). On April 29, 1941; the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor -Relations Board Rules and Regu- lations-Series - 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election .Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or to the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. JOHNSTON GLASS COMPANY, INC. 897 IT Is HERESY CERTIFIED that Federation of Glass,, Ceramic, and Silica Sand Workers of America, affiliated with the Congress of In- dustrial Organizations, has been designated and selected by a ma- jority of the production and maintenance employees and clerical em- ployees directly connected with production of The Johnston Glass 'Company, Inc., Hartford City, Indiana, exclusive of supervisory employees, and office and clerical employees, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining and that, pursuant to Sec- tion 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, Federation of Glass, Ceramic, 'and Silica Sand Workers of America, affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organizations, is the exclusive representative .of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other con- ditions of employment.
