Case No. R-2314 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES March 00, 1941 On February 20, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board, issued a Decision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceeding.' Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted on February 28, 1941, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Thir- teenth Region (Chicago, Illinois). On March 1, 1941, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report on the ballot. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. B., No. 68. 478 THE GRIESS PFLEGER TANNING Co. 479 been designated and selected by a majority of all production and maintenance employees at the Waukegan plant of The Griess Pfleger Tanning Co., Waukegan,, Illinois, including employees in the hide house, beam house, tan house, shaving department, back yard, -lime splitting, chrome splitting, setting and shanking, color and fat liquor, hand setting, tack and trim, fourth floor finishing, staking and buff- ing, third floor finishing, buffing, sorting and wrapping, and shipping departments, yard gang, machine shop, powerhouse, elevator operators, and janitor, but excluding D. Milakovich, strawboss, S. Sundstrom, assistant foreman, laboratory employees, office employees, foremen, assistant foremen, supervisors, and clerical employees, as their repre- sentative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to'Section 9 (a) of the Act, International Fur and Leather Workers Union, affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organizations, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes-of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of em- ployment, and other conditions of employment.
