Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted on May 2, 1941, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Fifth Region (Baltimore, Maryland). On May 6, 1941, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations- Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties his Elec- tion Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. I. 0., has been designated and selected by a majority of the dining room and kitchen employees of S & W Cafeteria of Washington, Inc., Washington, D. C., such as bus employees, counter attendants, cooks, bakers, steam-table servers, and general helpers, but excluding managers, supervisors, cashiers, checkers, and clerical help, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that pursuant to the provisions of Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, United Cafeteria Employees Local Industrial Union #471, affiliated with the C.
