ORDER
The Acting General Counsel requests Special Permission to Appeal Deputy
Chief Administrative Law Judge Arthur J. Amchan’s ruling approving a non-Board
settlement agreement. Having carefully considered the matter, we grant the Acting
General Counsel’s request and find that, in the circumstances presented here, the
judge’s approval of that settlement should be set aside. The Acting General Counsel’s
further motion to remand this matter to the Regional Director for the purpose of severing
Case 05-RC-093887 from the remaining cases captioned above and for further

processing of those cases is also granted.
