UNITED STATES OF AMERICA BEFORE THE NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD MID-ATLANTIC REGIONAL COUNCIL OF CARPENTERS, an affiliate of the UNITED BROTHERHOOD OF CARPENTERS AND JOINERS OF AMERICA Employer Case 5-RC-1 6371 and LABORERS INTERNATIONAL UNION OF NORTH AMERICA, LOCAL 657 Petitioner DECISION AND CERTIFICATION OF RESULTS OF ELECTION The National Labor Relations Board has considered objections to an election held October 30, 2009, and the Administrative Law Judge's report recommending disposition of them. The election was conducted pursuant to a Stipulated Election Agreement. The tally of ballots shows 15 ballots cast for and 75 ballots cast against the Petitioner, with 3 void ballots and 3 challenged ballots, an insufficient number to affect the results. No exceptions have been filed to the Administrative Law Judge's report within the time provided. Accordingly, the Board adopts the Administrative Law Judge's findings and recommendations, and finds that a certification of results of election should be issued. CERTIFICATION OF RESULTS OF ELECTION IT IS CERTIFIED that a majority of the valid ballots have not been cast for Laborers International Union of North America, Local 657, and that it is not the exclusive collective- bargaining representative of these bargaining unit employees. Dated, Washington, D.C., February 25, 2010. By direction of the Board: Richard D. Hardick Associate Executive Secretary 2 Copy with citationCopy as parenthetical citation
