AFFILIATED WITH THE CONGRESS OF INDUSTRIAL ORGANIZATIONS Case No. R-468 SUPPLEMENTAL DECISION AND ORDER June 4,1941 On May 3, 1941 , the National Labor Relations Board issued a Deci- ;,ion and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceeding., Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted on May 19, 1941 , under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Ninth Region ( Cincinnati , Ohio). On May 20 , 1941 , the Regional Director , acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9 , of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations- Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report . No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. As to the balloting and the results thereof, the Regional Director reported as follows : Number of alleged eligible voters__ ______________------------------------------ 77 Number of ballots placed in ballot box ----------------------- 74 Number of unchallenged ballots FOR Local 103, United Office and Professional Workers of America, CIO ________________ 35- Number of unchallenged ballots AGAINST Local 103, United Office and Professional Workers of America, CIO ___________ 39 Number of challenged ballots _______________________________ 0 Number of blank ballots_____________________________________ 0 Number of spoiled ballots-------------------- --------------- 0 The results of the Election show that no collective bargaining repre- sentative has been selected by a majority of the employees of the Llbbey-Owens -Ford Glass Company, Charleston , West Virginia, in the unit heretofore found to be appropriate for collective bargaining.
