R-2363 to R-2365, inclusive CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES April 09, 194,1 On March 28, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board, issued a Decision and Direction of Elections in the above-entitled proceeding." Pursuant to the Direction of Elections, elections by secret ballot were conducted on April 10, 1941, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Third Region (Buffalo, New York). On April 11, -1941, the Regional Di- rector, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report on the ballot. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report-have been filed by any of the parties. IT IS'HEREBY CERTIFIED that International Association of Machinists, Lodge 1379, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, has been designated and selected' by a majority of all employees on an hourly basis in the machine shop, the,yards, the shipping department, the maintenance crew, blacksmiths, assemblers, working assistant KENNEDY VALE MANUFACTURING COMPANY 477 foremen who spend a majority of their time on production, and tqol- room attendants in Plants 1 and 2 of Kennedy Valve Manufacturing Company, Elmira, New York, excluding foreman, assistant foremen who are purely supervisory, watchmen, gatemen, engineers, and clerks, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, International Association of Machinists, Lodge 1379., affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to .rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and 'other conditions of employment. IT Is HEREBY CERTIFIED that Pattern Makers League of North Amer- ica, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, has , been designated and selected by a majority of all metal and wood pattern ,makers in Plant 1 and Plant 2 of Kennedy Valve Manufacturing Company, Elmira, New York, including all apprentice metal and wood pattern makers who have served at least one year apprentice- ships, but excluding general foremen, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, Pattern Makers League of North America, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
