Pursuant to the Direction of Election, as amended, an election by secret ballot was cgnducted on June 20, 1941, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Fourth Region (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania). On June 24, 1941, the Re- gional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report on the bal- lot. No objdctions to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. B., No. 93. 481 482 DECISIONS OF NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD IT is HEREBY CERTIFIED that United Textile Workers of America, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, has been designated and selected by a majority of all production and maintenance employ- ees of Joseph Black & Sons Co., York, Pennsylvania, including ship- ping-department employees, but excluding firemen, watchmen, and supervisory and clerical employees, as their representative for the pur- poses of collective bargaining, and that pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, United Textile Workers of America, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and'other conditions of employment.
