CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES '

On January 24, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board issued
its Decision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceed-
ing.1 Pursuant to the Direction of Election an election by secret
ballot was conducted on February 13, 1941, under the direction and
supervision of the Acting Regional Director for Second Region
(New York City). On February 17,' 1941, the Acting Regional
Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor
Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued
his Election Report, copies of which were duly served upon the
parties. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or to the Election
Report have been filed by any of the parties.
As to the balloting and its'results, the Acting Regional Director
reported as follows : -

The Acting Regional Director- further reported that he made no
recommendation as to the challenged votes, inasmuch as they were not
essential to the determination of the result of the election.

Labor Relations Board by Section 9 (c)'of the National Labor Rela-
tions Act, 49 Stat. 449, and pursuant to Article III, Sections 8 and 9,

IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Local 430 of the United Electrical,
Radio & Machine Workers of America, C. I. 0., has been designated
and selected by a majority of all the employees in the production
departments of Fada Radio & Electric Company, Inc., New York
City, including working supervisors, but excluding engineering,
laboratory, watchmen, porters, maintenance, and toolroom, time-
study men, timekeepers, experimental workers, foremen, non-working
supervisors, stockroom employees, shipping and receiving room em-
ployees, office, clerical and all other non-production employees, as
their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and
that, pursuant to the provisions of Section 9 (a) of the Act, Local
430 of the United Electrical Radio & Machine Workers of America,
C. I. 0., is the. exclusive representative of all such employees for the
purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages,
hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
