Case-No. R-1018 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES December 16, 1938 - On November 5, 1938, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board, issued a Decision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceeding.' On November 15, 1938, the Board issued an Amendment to the Direction of Election.' On November 29, 1938, the Board issued a Second Amendment to Direction of Election.3 The Direction of Election, as amended, provided that an election by secret ballot be conducted within thirty (30) days from the date of the Direction, among the production employees of the Colonic Fibre Company, Inc., listed on the pay roll of June 24, 1938, excluding mill- wrights, supervisory employees, and office employees, and excluding those employees who have since quit or been discharged for cause, to determine whether or not they wish to be represented by the Cohoes Knit Goods Workers Union No. 21514, American Federation of Labor, for the purposes of collective bargaining. Pursuant to the Direction of Election, as amended, an election by secret ballot was conducted on November 29, 1938, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Second Region (New York City). Full opportunity was accorded to all of the parties to this investigation to participate therein and to make challenges. On December 1, 1938, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regu- lations-Series 1, as amended, issued and duly served upon the par- ties an Intermediate Report on the election.
