B-3154 and R-3155, Respectively CERTIFICATIONS OF- REPRESENTATIVES December 30, 1941 On November 18, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board issued a Decision and Direction of Elections in the above-entitled proceed- ing.' Pursuant to the Direction of Elections, elections by secret bal- lot were conducted on December 9,1941,-under the direction and super- vision of the Regional Director for the First Region (Boston, Mas- sachusetts). On December 10, 1941, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties his Elections Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballots or the Elections Report have been filed by any of the parties. - As to the balloting and its results, the Regional Director reported as follows : 1. Pursuant to the power vested in the National Labor Relations Board by Section 9 (c) of the National Labor Relations Act, 49 Stat. 449, and pursuant to Article III, Sections 8 and •9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that International Association of Machin- ists, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, has been desig- nated and selected by a majority of the factory and foundry employees of Brown and Sharpe Manufacturing Company, Provi- dence, Rhode Island, in the categories listed in Appendix A of the Decision and Direction of Elections herein, but excluding em- ployees in the categories listed in Appendices B and E of said Decision and Direction of Elections, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, International Association of Machinists, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining, with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment; and IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that International Molders and Foundry Workers Union, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, has been designated and selected by a majority of the foundry em- ployees of Brown and Sharpe Manufacturing Company, Providence, Rhode Island, in the categories listed in Appendix C of the Deci- sion and Direction of Elections herein, but excluding employees, in the categories listed in Appendices D and E, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, International Molders and Foundry Workers Union, affiliated with the American 1048 DECISIONS OF NATIONAL' LABOR RELATIONS BOARD Federation of Labor, i"s the exclusive representative of all such em- ployees for the purposes of collective bargaining with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
