Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted on December 12, 1941, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Eighteenth Region (Minneapolis, Minnesota). On December 15, 1941, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report on the ballot. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. B., No. 8. 37 38 DECISIONS OF NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Amalgamated Meat Cutters and Butcher Workmen of North America, Local 416, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, has been designated and selected by a majority of all production employees at the Huron, South Dakota, plant of Armour & Company of Delaware and Armour & Company of Illinois, engaged in killing, dressing, processing, packing, and shipping, exclud- ing maintenance employees, general office and clerical employees, plant clerks, scalers and checkers, supervisors, foremen, assistant foremen, watchmen, jobbing-room employees, and livestock drivers, as their I epresentative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pur- suant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, Amalgamated Meat Cutters and Butcher Workmen of North America, Local 416, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
