Section 45.101 - [Repealed Effective 1/1/2025] Justice Court Prosecutions
(a) All prosecutions in a justice court shall be conducted by the county or district attorney or a deputy county or district attorney.
(b) Except as otherwise provided by law, appeals from justice court may be prosecuted by the district attorney or a deputy district attorney with the consent of the county attorney.
