Section 5.05 - Infection Control, Occupational Safety and Health Standards, and Radiation Control Requirements(1)Infection Control Practices. All persons licensed by the Board and all practices providing dental services are required to operate in compliance with the current Recommended Infection Control in Dental Health-Care Settings - 2003, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Atlanta.(2)Occupational Health and Safety Practices. All persons licensed by the Board and all practices providing dental services are required to operate in compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration Standards at 29 CFR: OSHA Standards.(3)Radiation Control. All persons licensed by the Board and all dental practices providing dental services utilizing radiological equipment are required to operate and maintain such equipment in compliance with Massachusetts Radiation Control Program statutes and regulations.Amended by Mass Register Issue 1271, eff. 10/10/2014.
