Opinion

CR 10-279

Opinion Delivered April 15, 2010

Pro Se Petition for Writ of Mandamus [Circuit Court of Crittenden County, CR 2009-797], Petition Moot.

On March 16, 2010, petitioner Willie Wells III filed a pro se petition for writ of mandamus in this court. He contended in the petition that the Honorable Randy Philhours, Circuit Judge, had failed to act in a timely manner on a motion to suppress filed on August 31, 2009, and a motion for speedy trial filed January 7, 2010, in the Circuit Court of Crittenden County.

On March 26, 2010, Judge Philhours entered an order disposing of the two motions. As the court has acted on the motions, the petition for writ of mandamus is moot. Strong v. Thyer, 2010 Ark. 19 (per curiam); Cummings v. Proctor, 2009 Ark. 588 (per curiam).

Petition moot.
